Bamboo toothbrush & toothpaste
Tooth brushing has a big part in our routines and plastic toothbrush take thousand years to decompose, so switching to a compostable one is a part of the reconsidering everyday choices.
For the toothpaste, you can buy package free paste in health store or from brand such as Lush, or switch to baking soda.
We can choose a wooden or bamboo brushes, there are approximately around 2 and 5£.
Bamboo or Wooden Hair Brush
It is a good alternative to using a plastic hair brush, indeed it is made from biodegradable materials. I know that you don’t have to buy a brush hair everyday, but switching to a bamboo or wooden brushes will save the potential plastic brushes you could buy in the future from ending up in a landfill. More than ethics benefits, these brushes are know for decreasing the electrical charge of hair, and it will allow them to stay nice and smooth.
Stainless steel razor
For shaving, there are options such as safety razor, there are recyclable anywhere stainless steel is but you have to make sure to put them in another stainless steel container to make sure that the recycling workers will not be hurt. More for shaving soap, you can use any type of soap that will be enough to do the job but you can buy special shaving soap.
Solid shampoo, body wash and refillable conditionner
Solid products are a must have for any zero waster, indeed more and more brands propose this type of products because it is very popular, it is cheaper than regular products and last longer.
There are solid bar, I buy mine at Lush that offer a lot of choices, more there are the refillable products that you can buy at a bulk grocery shop for example, you just have to refill your own bottles, it works for shampoo, conditionner and even body/face soap.
For body, you can find a package-free solid soap at Lush for example, to exfoliate I like to use baking powder.
Menstrual cup
This part is for women, you can turn to zero waste products for your menstruation, for example there are reusable sanitary napkins or tampons. If you want a more durable option you can choose the menstrual cup. However, menstrual cup are made from silicon and it is not recyclable so you must take good care of it to be able to keep it for years.

There are recycled and unbleached toilet paper that are wrapped individually in paper, you buy them at your bulk store for example of on internet.
